How Do I Post An Advertisement?

Direct Posts (using a personal account or business page)

  1. Go into the group you wish to post in within Facebook (ie. Bayside Community Hub, Beaumaris Community Hub or Bayside Community Hub Directory Advertising)
  2. Type your advertisement into the “Write Post” area within the Facebook Group.  Ensure you include your “Admin Approved” at the top of the post. 
  3. Add any photos to your post if including them.
  4. Add any links to the post if including them (facebook, website, instagram etc).  If you are including a photo, please ensure you add the photo before including any links, otherwise your photo area will be taken over by the link image.
  5. Click on the post button to post to the group.  Your post will be approved within the times stipulated in our service level agreement, depending on which group you have posted in.

Sharing a Post from your Business Page

  1. From your personal account, go into the business page you wish to share from.
  2. Scroll to the post you wish to share to the Bayside Community Hub Group.
  3. Ensure you are posting as yourself, not the business page by clicking the arrow to the right of the post and selecting your personal account.
  4. Click on the Share option for the post.
  5. Select the “Share in a Group” option.
  6. Type in the name of the group you wish to share to and select that group.
  7. Type the “Admin Approved” phrase, plus any introductory text into the “Say something about this…” area above the shared post.
  8. Click on the post button to post to the group.  Your post will be approved within the times stipulated in our service level agreement, depending on which group you have posted in.
